Your first lecture

Sitting in a lecture shouldn’t be a passive experience. It involves listening to what is said, understanding the information, taking away key concepts, and making sure that you’ll be able to talk or write about these key issues at a later stage. Alot of the information passed on during lectures won’t be found in your textbooks. The lecturer may use examples, explanations, and offer tips that you won’t find anywhere else. This is why it’s important to attend lectures and take good lecture notes.
